PTI’s Kornheiser suspended over Hannah Storm outfit remarks (Picture included)
Tony Kornheiser of PTI has been suspended from his nightly TV show for 2 weeks after hilarious remarks about Hannah Storm (Above left) and her outfit on Sportscenter this morning. Storm often dresses in skirts and casual attire rather than trying to dress like a new anchor.
Kornheiser’s Remarks:
“Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today. She’s got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt … way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now…She’s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body … Read the rest of this entry »
Ladainian Tomlinson Possible Destinations?
So Tomlinson has finally been released by the Chargers, which has been expected by both the media and Ladainian who has spoken about it on numerous occasions. Now there are multiple RB free agents this offseason, none who really stand out. Many of the guys are hitting the dreaded age of 30 for running backs. You’ve got Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, Reggie Bush (should be waived for salary reasons), Pierre Thomas, Ronnie Brown, Chester Taylor and Derron Sproles. I expect Sproles, Brown and Pierre Thomas to be resigned by their own teams unless the GM’s are just plain stupid. Read the rest of this entry »
Jamison: Instant NBA Title & A Farewell to The King
The Cleveland Cavaliers essentially traded for Antawn Jamison for one of the last picks in the first round of the draft. Sounds like a fair trade. The Washington Wizards need to save money and cap room and the Cavaliers wanted to bolster their team for their championship push. The Wizards also received Big Z Ilgauskas but he will eventually be waved and resigned with the Cavs in 30 days, like Jerry Stackhouse with the Mavs last year.
So what does this mean for the Cavs? Instant Championship. Jamison is one of the most underrated players in the NBA and has been for many years. He isn’t as explosive offensively as Stoudemire who was rumored to be heading to Cleveland instead, Read the rest of this entry »

The Super Bowl Defenses: Part 1
A lot has been made about these two high powered offenses led by spectacular QBs butting heads in the Super Bowl. There hasn’t been too much detail on the defenses.
So there is a lot stirring up about the New Orleans Defense. Some saying their passing defense is terrible, some saying it is very good. No one really cares or mentions the run defense since Indy is so bad between the tackles. Lets take a look at just the basic stats of the New Orleans defense.
Total Defense: 25th/32 (357 yds/gm)
Pass Defense: 26th/32 (235.6 yds/gm)
Rush Defense: 21st/32 (122.2 yds/gm)
Now 25th in the league overall might sound bad, the glass half fullers might say, “Well, there’s still 7 teams worse than them”. Well, yeah, sure. Read the rest of this entry »
